The “Logistician” club was established on 15 June 2003. It brings together students interested in logistics and logistics management who wish to broaden their theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

Main objectives

• To disseminate and improve knowledge and skills in the field of logistics and logistics management in the academic environment
• To organise meetings with people professionally and scientifically involved in logistics and logistics management
• To establish contacts and cooperation with enterprises
• To participate in conferences, seminars, training courses, logistics workshops, etc.
• To conduct scientific and research work.

Club activities

We deal with, among others:

• The areas of road transport, forwarding, warehousing and management in the transport-forwarding-logistics industry, by organising training courses finishing with a certified exam by the Virtual TransEdu Academy of the Trans.eu Group S.A. company from Wrocław
• Transport exchange by organising computer workshops on transport exchange simulation using the TransEdu application with the participation of the coordinators of the Virtual Academy of the Trans.eu Group S.A. a company from Wroclaw and representatives of transport and forwarding companies
• Quality management systems according to ISO standards by organising training courses finishing with a certified exam by TÜV SÜD Polska Sp. z o.o. from Warsaw
• Every year the members of the student study club “Logistician” participate in the National Logistics Competition for pupils and students from logistics schools and colleges – the “TransEdu Academic Competition for Young Logistics Professionals”. In the 11th edition of the 2018 Competition, three members of our club were ranked among 130 winners in the country (places: 19, 42 and 43)
• Members of the student study club “Logistician” participate in practical training and internships in the logistics activities of companies from Czestochowa, Błonie near Warsaw, Będzin, Gliwice and others
• We organise field trips of the club’s members to companies to supplement and enrich knowledge in the area of logistics and logistics management, for example to Grupa Fachowiec Sp. z o.o. in Czestochowa in 2016, C-L Sp. z o.o. – Centrum Logistyczne Gliwice in Gliwice in 2013, the IKEA Distribution Centre near Piotrków Trybunalski in 2012, TRW Polska Sp. z o.o. in Czestochowa in 2011, Grupa Żywiec S.A. in Żywiec in 2010, Pekaes-Mulispedytor Sp. z o.o. in Błonie near Warsaw in 2005
• We prepare and publish scientific articles on logistics and logistics management
• We participate in student study clubs and conferences.
