Full-time and part-time studies

The aim of the Quality and Production Management master’s degree programme is to provide students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to manage the industrial transformation 4.0 process, with particular emphasis on product development quality, modern production organisation tools and the competencies of an Industry 4.0 manager. The studies last three semesters, and upon their completion you will be awarded a master's degree. We offer both full-time and part-time programmes.

Advantages

The studies will prepare you to carry out a range of activities related to transformation 4.0 in companies. The study programme is interdisciplinary with an emphasis on management and quality sciences and it has been prepared for leaders of transformation 4.0 in companies. The curriculum is designed in such a way as to provide the maximum amount of knowledge about the latest solutions in the industry, but its priority is to teach students all the competencies related to the management and implementation of effective 4.0 transformation strategies. During your studies, you will learn about the various elements related to Industry 4.0, especially digitisation and digital change in companies, the Internet of Things, automatisation and intelligent machines, customizing production to the needs of individual customers, cyber security, and simulation.

Possible employment

You have a very large selection of possible employment opportunities. Nearly every company needs specialists in quality and production management, and these companies are facing the challenge of transformation 4.0. You can work, for example, in small, medium and large production and service companies; in design and consulting units dealing with quality and production engineering; in business and administrative units where technical, economic and IT knowledge and organisational skills are required, with a special focus on the position of a transformation 4.0 leader.

Additional information

You can participate in the activities of two student study clubs:

1.      Student study club “Promotor jakości” (Quality Promoter) 

2.      Student study club “Erasmus+Manager”

The cooperation of the Chair of Production Engineering and Safety, with the student study club “Quality Promoter” and with Biuro System Sp. J. has resulted in more than 100 students being certified as auditors of various types of management systems (DAS certificate). The clubs also organise interesting workshops to expand the knowledge students gain in classes.

The study programme is recommended by the Advisory Council of Business Representatives of the Faculty of Management and the companies Wielton, Multimetal and Pamapol.
