In the course of study for a bachelor's degree in Management, you will acquire theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of management and related sciences concerning the nature, regularity, and problems of the functioning of organisations – companies, public institutions, and non-profit organisations. During the studies, you will be prepared to carry out the basic functions of process and project management in economic and administrative organisations, as well as public and local government institutions. You will become familiar with tools that support the ability to recognise, diagnose and solve problems in the management of the human, material or financial resources of an organisation. During your studies, you will acquire the skills to effectively communicate, negotiate and persuade in a team, and manage risk in an organisation. The knowledge, skills and competences you acquire will form a solid foundation for working as a specialist in business organisation and management, becoming a manager and also for running your own business.

Specialisation in Entrepreneurship and Management of Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises

The specialisation in Entrepreneurship and Management of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises will enable you to develop the qualities and attitudes necessary to fulfil the role of an entrepreneur in business. By choosing this specialisation, you will not only acquire practical knowledge of SME management, but you will also have great perspectives for the development of your personality. You will learn to identify and effectively exploit emerging market opportunities. The entrepreneurial and management knowledge, skills and competences you acquire in the specialisation will form a solid foundation for launching your own company and managing its development and will meet the expectations not only of employers in the SME sector but also of multinational corporations.

Specialisation in Business Marketing Management

The specialisation in Business Marketing Management provides students with knowledge of the methods for getting to know customers and influencing their decisions. By choosing this specialisation, you will become a specialist in applying modern, multi-channel marketing to the company you work for or want to create. We will teach you to apply marketing skills and knowledge in practice. There is no theory, just continuous series of workshops, exercises, projects, individual and team work. If you have a flair for marketing and are interested in the Internet, marketing research, and modern forms of influencing purchase decisions, you will gain nothing but benefits by choosing this specialisation.

If you choose our specialisation, you will learn how to act in a changing environment. You will learn to recognise how modern companies target their customers, how to serve customers, as well as how to carry out research, plan marketing activities and create a strategy for your business.

The specialisation in the Management of Public and Local Government Institutions is a pathway to becoming a specialist in the functioning of public and local government institutions. You will be prepared to manage public tasks, municipal property, budget finance and accounting, as well as regional policy.

By choosing the specialisation in the Management of Public and Local Government Institutions, you will acquire knowledge about working as an organisation and management specialist and a middle-level manager in public and local government institutions. You will learn to work in a team and to effectively communicate, negotiate and persuade.

Specialisation in Human Resources Management

The aim of the Human Resources Management specialisation is to teach students to improve their own interpersonal skills to use them professionally and effectively in human resources as well as in management. Studying this specialisation allows you to acquire the skills to create leaders, resolve conflicts, acquire and develop corporate human capital perceived as a source of company value.

You will learn

You will gain a wide range of knowledge, thanks to which you will acquire the basic skills necessary to carry out activities in human resources related to the implementation of the human resources process, including in particular the knowledge of labour law, constructing job descriptions, carrying out the employee recruitment process, recording working time and calculating salaries. You will acquire skills in identifying and creating leaders, or solving conflicts and negotiating.

Your future

As a graduate of our specialisation, you will be prepared to work in national and international companies as a specialist in the personnel department, managing the most important resources of an organisation, i.e. human resources, recruitment, employment and payroll. You will also be prepared to work as a manager and specialist in the human resources consulting industry.
