Full-time and part-time studies

The main objective of the study programme in Production and Quality Management is to develop and disseminate issues in the field of quality and production engineering with an emphasis on management and quality sciences.

Advantages

The studies will give you a practical insight into the instruments to solve a variety of production problems that are very useful in any type of company. You will learn what methods can be used when organising and improving a production or product design process, how to carry out different types of control in such a process, and how to evaluate the effects of your work. You will have the flexibility and open-mindedness to look for new technical and organisational solutions between different disciplines thanks to the interdisciplinary orientation of the studies.

Your future

You have a wide choice when it comes to your job. Practically every company needs specialists in quality and production management. You can work, for example, in small, medium and large production and service companies; design and consultancy entities dealing with quality and production engineering; business and administrative units where technical, economic and IT knowledge, and organisational skills are required.

Additional information

  • There are two student study clubs functioning within the study programme:

Student study club “Promotor jakości” (Quality Promoter)
Student study club “Erasmus+Manager”

  • The cooperation between the Chair of Production Engineering and Safety, the student study club “Quality Promoter” and Biuro System Sp. J. has resulted in more than 100 students being certified as auditors of various types of management systems (DAS certificate). The clubs also organise interesting workshops to expand the knowledge gained in the courses.
  • The study programme is recommended by the Business Representatives Advisory Council of the Faculty of Management, as well as by the Wielton company and the SGP Group.
